Composite Grating

Composite Grating

Composite grating are resistant mesh surfaces that are used in various industries. For example, grating is used as floors, platforms, stairs, and stairs in factories, refineries, and other industrial places.

Because of the conditions of factories and industries, gratings may be exposed to water and humidity, fire, chemicals such as acid, sunlight, and other harsh conditions. Therefore, it is better to prepare them with anti-corrosion, anti-fire, anti-UV, and thermal and electrical insulation materials. Composite gratings (FRP or GRP) in addition to the mentioned features, have other advantages such as lightness, easy installation, no need for maintenance, more durability, higher energy absorption (insensitivity to impact), fatigue resistance and They have more strength than their steel type. Compared to galvanized gratings, such composite gratings have high weight resistance, longer life, and better chemical resistance.

Composite Grating

Composite gratings are divided into two general categories:

Molded gratings:

To prepare this type of grating, resin and reinforcing fibers (glass or polymer) are poured layer by layer into the mesh mold until it reaches the desired thickness and dimensions. Then it is removed from the mold.

Pultruded gratings:

This type of grating is prepared by the pultrusion method, which is a method for preparing profiles with the same cross-section.

Gratings are produced in different dimensions and colors. Their surface can also be rough according to the customer’s needs. This is to increase the safety of employees against slipping.

ISOphthalic and Vynilester resins are two common types of resins used in the production of gratings.

Asan Form Kimia Company is one of the prominent and well-known suppliers and exporters of all types of composite gratings in Iran.
