Homopolymer Polypropylene Granule

Homopolymer Polypropylene Granule

The granules made from pure polypropylene polymerization are called homopolymer polypropylene granules. Although homopolymer polypropylene has higher tensile strength and hardness than copolymer polypropylene, its main weakness is impact resistance. In fact, homopolymer polypropylene is more brittle than copolymer polypropylene. Therefore, the use of homopolymer polypropylene in the production of injection parts that are exposed to impact and low temperature is severely limited. To overcome this shortcoming, ethylene monomer is injected into the propylene during the polymerization process. Homopolymer is used in industries such as packaging, textiles, the production of various pipes, and automotive and electrical parts. Asan Form Kimia Company is one of the well-known suppliers and exporters of recycled homopolymer polypropylene granule in Iran.
