Polypropylene Granules
Polypropylene (PP) granules, with their prominent and unique features, have the second most widespread use in the production of thermoplastic products after polyethylene. PP granules have a unique spherical structure and are semi-crystalline solids formed from unsaturated polypropylene monomers. In general, PP granules are divided into two types: homopolymer and copolymer. Homopolymer has a wider range of applications than copolymer. The main difference between these two monomers is the amount of ethylene in their composition. Moreover, these two models differ from each other in impact resistance, tensile strength, and hardness. PP granules are used in the production of durable boxes, frames, and covers for both household and industrial electrical appliances, fishing nets, plastic suitcases and bags, various caps, and closures, and more. PP granules are also widely used in the recycling industry due to their recyclability. Asan Form Kimia is one of the well-known suppliers and exporters of recycled polypropylene granule in Iran.
